we have a 1994 buick park ave 3.8L engine code L replaced computer for quad driver 2 faliure /new computer has same concern code 650 present as a hard fault code if you unplug transmission tcc switch driver fixes itself but driver #1 goes to fault /help what is the problem

What ever the QUAD drivers are connected to, is usually what is shorting them out and/or over working them. If you have shorted shift solenoids in your transmission, which can happen, then that will over work the QUAD driver, which is a basically a set of switching transistors. When ever I have a QUAD driver fault, I ALWAYS determine what is connected to the QUAD driver and fix that first before I replace the computer, or it will burn up the new computer, or at least set QUAD Driver codes.
