Hello, When the start/stop button does not function, either the vehicle has disabled itself, the battery is insufficiently charged/going bad, or the key is not communicating with the vehicle. In your owners manual you will find instructions on where you can place the key in the situation it is not communicating, and this may alleviate the issue. Aside from that, since it is intermittent, the issue will need to be diagnosed when it occurs, so this will mean leaving the vehicle at the shop until they can replicate and diagnose the issue. The parking brake malfunction will need physical inspection to isolate the issue, or there may be enhanced OBD codes stored in the body control module.
