It is very hard to say exactly, but E65 are starting to become an issue when it comes to component failure.
I bought my car at 45000. The experience has been good but be aware if you want to keep it running well you need to invest. My car is driven from my Garage to work parking so never parked outside. The car has full main dealer service history. First issue at 70000 MILES -New ALTERNATOR, 72000 MILES - New air intake hoses, 76000 MILES-new Coolant tanks as cracked, 85000 MILES- alternator support bracket gasket leaking engine oil - new gasket main issue here is labour time major expense and this is a well known unwanted leak on this engine, 85000 leaking vacuum pump and air pump bothe replaced So you see despite looking after the car and FSH things will go you need to be prepared for the expense. Despite the age of the car it is worth keeping a BMW warranty @ 1500 Pounds
