Hello, for the starter to engage, the following thing is needed: 1) Fully charged battery power with the ability to sustain a continual load 2) Clean cable connections securely fastened 3) No blown fuses 4) Anti-theft system disengaged due to use of properly programmed keys 5) Transmission shift position in "park" or "neutral" 6) An engine that physically turns when manually turned with a breaker bar That's about it.
