The center armrest of the rear seat can be lowered to provide a release access to have a small window into the trunk, where you can reach the manual emergency trunk release. Other than that, with a jumper power box, you can open the hood and hook up to the positive and negative terminals under the hood - even with no battery hooked up in the trunk.
