BMW 328is misfire#6

What is your question?

My 1998 328is has a occasional misfire at cylinder #6. It comes and goes whenever.There is no set time when this happens. I replaced the plugs and coil pack. Could i have a computer problem? Maybe faulty wiring at the injector or coil pack?

Unfortunately the answer is yes. All the possibilities you list could cause the misfire at number 6. If it is a computer problem I have got FUEL INJECTION CORPORATION 2407 Research Drive Livermore, CA 94550 Phone: 925-371-6551 to test the ECU, good people quick turn around just send them the computer. Check the wiring in case a rodent has damaged the wiring and check for wiring issues.
