Have gotten and paid for two diagnosis on 1994 BMW 318i: #1 replaced freon. A/C worked but on and off. #1 referred to A/C specialist who thought the problem to be evaporator. #2 ruled out evaporator and has referred to electrical specialist. Can't find sensor for clock and sunroof. Could this be a clue to overall problem?

Really you need to find a good Diagnostic shop. Sensor for the Clock and Sunroof? I have NO idea what this has to do with an A/C Diagnosis a on a 318 and I used to work in a BMW shop.
