Depends on who is selling the warranty and for how much. You clearly seem to be over the 4 year since in service threshold that BMW has. This means you're likely looking at an aftermarket provider. I'd use caution here; many have a high price tag and limited coverage. Still, BMW's are expensive to repair even for small things and it's nice to secure this a bit with a warranty. I'd weigh options and perhaps sources of warranty for a good deal and terms before going with one. Hard to advise online, but that's what I'd say. Good luck.
