Where is alternator located?

Hello, If you follow the serpentine belt (on the front of the engine) it will eventually wrap around the alternator. Typically the pully for the alternator is one of the smaller pullies, maybe 2-3 inches in diameter. The alternator will be removed with a couple of bolts, but battery and ECU connections will need to be removed and reinstalled. This is a basic repair, and as long as you work safely with the battery disconnected (I know, no radio), the repair should not take more than a couple hours. If there is not enough room to remove the alternator, consider having a professional handle the job, as some vehicles will require suspension components, or engine mounts removed to allow clearance to chage the alternator.
