What is your question?
My AC was working fine 1 minute and blowing hot air the next. Bought Freon with a gage thinking it needed a boost and the gage read maxed out. If it was the compressor or condenser, would it slowly go out? Could it be the regulator or sensor?

Hello, if your gauge is "maxed out" -- either somethings wrong with the gauge or perhaps it's not being used properly. A "maxed" gauge would cause the system to vent the refrigerant to prevent explosion typically. There's a relief valve to prevent catastrophic damage that can be caused by a line restriction that maxes out pressures. That said, if you have a system restriction, it's evidence of debris in the system probably from a compressor failure. High pressure can never be intermittent! This is why it seems a bit puzzling, what you're relating. Air conditioning systems and handling refrigerants requires a legal certification recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (section 609). Automotive professionals engage in proper training to protect our environment from hazardous refrigerant gases. It's not easy work, and it requires educated skill. Seek help locally. Almost no one outside of repair shops is capable of safely servicing an air conditioning system. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
