Front of car won't rise up at all. The pump is going and I no leaks found

My 2003 Allroad wasn't raising up on the front passenger side. I removed the tire and inspected the air bag. I tested it for leaks using soapy water, but found nothing. I was about to the point of frustration when I found a small black control arm attached to a sensor with a broken bracket attaching it to the suspension. I could tell this sensor told the computer when to raise the car. I removed the broken bracket and attached the control arm back with two zip ties. The problem was fixed immediately. Ironically, I then inspected the driver side, and the previous owner had apparently had the same problem and had fixed it the same way. Hope that helps.
