Hello, Which engine do you have? Is this the 3.7L V8 without turbo? If so, you may have to hunt down a vacuum leak, or you may have carbon build-up in the valves, if this engine is "FSI". Lastly, the idle air control valve (IACV) may be clogged, if equipped, which would prevent the engine from receiving air when the accelerator is not pressed by the driver. This would cause the engine to stall from excessive fuel consumption when the pedal is barely pressed, but would allow the engine to run if the gas was pressed hard. Ultimately, if you cannot locate the issue, look for one of our certified facilities that specialize in Porsche, Audi, or VW. A Mercedes Benz or Bently shop would be great as well. If we have not certified one of those in your area, any ASE technician will be able to figure out the issue, but it may take a few minutes longer if they are not familiar with typical Audi issues.
