Should the steering rack have to be replaced because it got wet in a puddle . Car has 26,000 miles

Car was driven through a puddle. Prior to that the vehicle has always had problems with the front left tire pressure. Also an issue with side alert & front distance between vehicle alert systems. Now, entire steering rack needs to be replaced. 2019 Audi Q7 with 26,000 miles on it.
