Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Air conditioning concerns can be caused by many possible potential failures. First, there is the refrigeration system, including the compressor, its clutch and coil and the related hoses and pipes that carry the refrigerant to the evaporator core where a fan blows the cold air into the cabin of the vehicle. For this, testing starts with hooking up gauges to determine system pressure and state of charge. If there is refrigerant in the system - then the testing goes towards electrical operations such as the coil and cycle switch and compressor relay. Also, ensuring the condenser fan works is essential. If the system is low in refrigerant, then a search for leaks is required. Checking various system components to ensure there are no leaks and maybe detecting where the refrigerant leaked out is next. This must be addressed. Additionally, the climate control system inside the vehicle should be looked at. Is the system calling for cold air but the various components only allow warm air to pass through? This must be checked. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
