Cabin of the car does not heat up

This may be a result of either a improperly performing thermostat or a air pocket in the cooling system. I would start by verifying the coolant level is full of good clean coolant, and there is no air trapped in the system. Next I would check the temperatures of both the upper and lower radiator hoses.
