Brake pad intervals vary depending on the driver and driving condition. A good rule of thumb is approx. 50k miles. Most Audi vehicles have a sensor that will turn a warning light on to alert the driver of brake pad thickness. The servicing shop should be checking brake pad thickness at every service interval to notify the driver of pad thickness and replacement if needed.
