Loud grinding noise coming from the front brakes

Hello, The noise doesn't go away when you touch the brakes? If it does, this just means it is time for brake pad and rotor replacement, if not, it could be brakes (see below) or a bad wheel bearing. If the pad has completely worn down, the grind is actual damage to the rotor, so see if the rotors look and feel smooth (after they cool down). There may also be some debris stuck in the wheel well, between the brake caliper and wheel, or next to a brake pad as well.
