My Audi A4 quattro has started making a airplane type sound.

What is your question?

It is not running smoothly. Neighbors hear me start my car. I need to put the radio on so I don't hear the noise. Motor runs well. Power is there. No warning lights are on . Could it be the timing belt? Or some type of belt? Muffler was hecked. All is OK.
