What is your question?
serviced trans and filter ...no burnt smell...replaced dv valve...replaced turbo control sensor have driven 300 miles no codes set, no check engine light....will a slipping torque converter always set a code? vibrates erratically sometimes violently ,sometime none at all . when smooth it has a kind of drumming/flutter sound kind of like rolling your tongue then stopping then rolling it again over and over. no leaks im thinking maybe axles or torque converter....any ideas?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Hard acceleration cause it worse..already changed plugs and coils
How long has your 2005 Audi A4 Quattro had this problem?

Hello, there is no guarantee that any fault will set a code when it occurs. However, it is likely as cars are newer and newer (since the advent of OBD II diagnostics in 1996 and newer as standard in automobiles) that faults will show up. The fact that your vibration is sometimes worse than other times makes me feel like indeed it could be related to a torque converter concern. Good diagnostic test equipment should show the engagement of the torque converter clutch and when it is entirely disengaged, this could help with testing and verification of your concern. Axle vibration would be more rhythmic and harmonic and would not fluctuate typically.
