Acura SLX 98 back turn signals not working, stopped at once, no prob with fuse

not posative but on almost all cars under the dash on drivers side is a little (usually) round silver or gold canister this is called a flasher unit it controls signal the signal lights. thay are fairly cheap and easy to swap. turn on your signal light and bend down under your dash and listen for a clicking sound. if you do not hear one then find flasher unit, that maybe the problem. if not have a code check done.
