Why can't we get my back cylinder to quit tapping

Will my car tap last forever or do another valve clearance adjustment. I bought a type s jdm motor , when starting found I had a stuck valve. Needless to say I did break it free and after 3 valve clearance adjustment I still have a slight the tap that stays with engine rpm. At first it was very loud I have it now where it's barely hearble but still iratating. Any suggestion
