Power Door Locks

(1996 Chevrolet Suburban 2500)
in Rochester, MN on January 03, 2010
The power door locks are not working, even though I can lock and unlock the doors using the key fab. The drivers seat power switches work just fine, so I don't think it's the fuse.

Any ideas for me?

Thanks in advance,
Don

While I cannot say for sure on a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban 2500, a 1998 will power the door lock switches through the lighter fuse. It would be worth a try to see if your lighter fuse is blown, you should find it in the instrument panel fuse box marked CIG LTR.
