Popping or squeaking noise from front wheel area on Lincoln MKS
Problem overview
A popping or squeaking noise my develop from the front wheel area. This can be caused by chafing of the jounce bumper against the strut rod and/or dust boot rubbing on the strut mount cup. Lubricating the bumper, rod, and boot with dielectric will commonly correct this type of noise.
