popping noises

I am hearing a popping noise coming from the rear end of my van, when i slow down and start to proceed forward what could it be?

My van has done the same thing for almost 2 yrs now and have had it to the dealer several times. All they say it is is a design flaw in the struts (both front and back). They tried several fixes and still have the noise so they say it does Not hurt and to live with it. It is just the vans - our santa fe was great until The accident.
