Oil Leaks from the Valve Cover Gasket on Saab 9000

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Oil commonly leaks from the valve cover gasket requiring replacement of the gasket. Oil will be visible at the top of the engine and possibly in the center area around the spark plugs.

Typical valve cover leak...and headgasket...and front seal.....
Change valve cover gasket and retorque slightly higher (5 lb ft?) than normal
copius light colored blue smoke from exhaust on start-up. smoke clears up within 1 minute
