Fluid Leak From Transmission Output Shaft Seal on Audi A4 Quattro

oil dripping off end of auto transmission where it meets driveshaft.
need to replace trainsmission seals on audi a4 Quattro 1.8 year 1999. do I have to pull the front end and moter or drop the traine from the back whish is ezer please help my auto guy wants $1500 for the job ?

Rear tranny to drive shaft output seal leaking gear oil. R/R seal.
Rear seal leaking on the exhaust. Installed new seal and problem still persists. Not sure if there might be a blocked vent in the transmission that would create pressure in the transmission causing the leak. Still not fixed.
A pink fluid was leaking. Mechanic said it was the rear transmission seal and replaced the seal. Part cost was ~$34 but the labor was $325. Transmission is still leaking and the car is scheduled to be brought back in for repair on Monday 3/7/2016
