    OBD-II Code 4-wheel drive system is disabled is defined as a Transfer Case Gear High Incorrect Ratio

    The Transfer Case locks together the front and rear differentials on a four wheel drive vehicle. Based on the driver's input, the transfer case allows for different torque outputs (4-wheel high or 4-wheel low)/ If the Transfer Case Control Module detects the Transfer Case is not providing the requested amount of torque, code P279A will be set.
