What causes OBD-II fault code P264B?
Newer vehicles use variable valve technology to allow for greater airflow through the engine at higher RPMs. This allows for better performance over a wider range. Some manufacturers are moving to a variable valve lift system that allows the valve to open wider. Internal to the variable lift rocker arm assembly are position sensors so the engine computer (PCM) can monitor what the assembly is doing. If the sensor inside the assembly fails, code P264B is set.
