Once the vehicle's onboard system no longer detects the issue, most codes will disappear on their own. If your vehicle still has this code, however, it should be properly diagnosed to avoid a more serious problem.

The engine computer (PCM) controls the boost from the turbocharge using a Turbocharger Vane Position Solenoid. The PCM confirms the solenoid is working as desired by using a Turbocharger Vane Position Sensor. If the Turbocharger Vane Position Sensor fails to correctly report back to the PCM, code P2564 will be stored.
