Will P0590 go away on its own?
Once the vehicle's onboard system no longer detects the issue, most codes will disappear on their own. If your vehicle still has this code, however, it should be properly diagnosed to avoid a more serious problem.

What causes OBD-II fault code P0590?
The Cruise Control System uses several input switches (i.e. Coast and Accelerate) If the engine computer (PCM) sees a signal from more than one switch at a time, code P0590 will set and the cruise control system will be disabled.
