What causes OBD-II fault code P0583?
The cruise control vacuum solenoid is electronically controlled by the engine computer (PCM). This servo controls the vacuum that activates and deactivates the cruise control system. If the Cruise Control Servo does not operate as requested by the PCM, code P0583 will set.
