OBD II Fault Code

  • OBD II P00BF

OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Mass or Volume Air Flow "B" Circuit Range/Performance - Air

The Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) measures the amount of air entering the engine. The engine control module (PCM) uses this information to determine how much fuel to use to keep the engine running properly. When the PCM detects a problem with this sensor or the circuit for the sensor, it will set code P00BF.

Decreased engine performance Symptoms

  • Decreased engine performance
  • Increased fuel consumption
