What Does P0072 Code Mean?

OBD-II Code P0072 is defined as a Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

The ambient temperature sensor helps the engine control module (PCM) determine how much fuel to use on startup. The PCM also uses this signal as a logic reference for other temperature sensors on the engine. If the PCM detects an issue with the signal from this sensor, it will set P0072.
