What causes OBD-II fault code P0048?
The engine computer (PCM) uses a Vane Control Solenoid (also referred to as a boost control solenoid) to control the amount of boost from the Turbocharger. If the Vane Control Solenoid does not operate as commanded, code P0048 will set.
