Grinding noise, more pronounced when car is cold and resting on the transmission going downhill. Happens in drive when heavily decelerating and when heavily accelerating in reverse. Almost sounds like grinding brake pads, and will make the noise in neutral when braking going downhill. I'm convinced it's not brake pads, as I can replicate sound with tiptronic and no brakes; but I'm changing the pads tomorrow just to eliminate that point of troubleshooting. CVT transmission, 2013 Subaru Impreza. Any suggestions are welcome. :-)
