No power to upper control console (lights and sunroof switches) nor to rear view mirror garage door control. Checked all fuses, ALL OK What next???

First off im not a mechanic. But a hands on gotta do it myself Benz owner. I have owned 7 S Class w220 before. So I hope this helps. Sounds like you may of lost a SAM unit OR NEED TO REPROGRAM ONE.WHAT THE HECKS A S.A.M. They are sorta like a go between mini computer. Sams are what control everything from windows to taillights. They are hidden from sight. They,re are four of them. Two located in the trunk The other two are in the engine compartment. Engine compartment SAMS are under the fuse blocks. Trunks are under the trunks lining. But before you go into that hassle. CHECK MBZ SECRECT FUSES. YES SECRET TO THE POINT YOU WILL NOT FIND THEM SPOKE OF BY ANYTHING BY BENZ. BUT THEY EXIST. One set is under the front passenger carpeting. Pulling the foam, then the aluminum plate. You'll see the 2awg red wire going into the white 3 inch by 3 inch plastic box. If you pull off the cover held by those 3 nuts attaching the wires. And surprise surprise it exposes three fuse links in the block. Also you if you ever find your battery is dead. You cant access the battery in the trunk. You'll be able to power up the car at this fuse block to open the trunk to access battery. The other block is next to battery in trunk under lining. Just follow the two foot long red wire off battery and you'll find it. These two blocks have 3 fuse links inside of each of them. If one of the links blow. It will take out fuse blocks or Command system. SECRET FUSE CAUSE THEY ARE HIDDEN. NO THATS NOT BTHE SECRET. NOR A REASON TO HATE BENZ. IF YOU TAKE THAT PART WITH THE MERCEDES BENZ PART NUMBER ON IT TO BENZ DEALERSHIP. THEY WILL NOT SELL YOU ONE. INFACT THEY WILL SAY IT DOES NOT EVEN EXISTS ON THE CAR. I KNOW CAUSE FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TO DALLASS TO LITTLE ROCK IVE ASKED BEFORE. SO WHAT CAN YOU DO IF ITS BLOWN SIMPLE AND ITS A TWENTY DOLLAR FIX. SOLUTION go to any of the car stereo retail stores. Ask for a 150 0r 100 amp fuse block for adding a sub woofer amp. Easy you can retro and safely make it work.
