My vehicle keeps shutting off when I'm at a stoplight and I'm having to restart

What is your question?

Every time my vehicle is stopped it will shut off but as long as I have my foot on the gas pedal it'll keep going what's wrong with my vehicle and if there's any recalls

What makes this problem better or worse?

Whenever I don't have my foot on the gas pedal it will shut off and I'm having to restart it

How long has your 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara had this problem?
