My Scion tc starts but won't spit out gas it won't iddle

I thought it was the fuel pump but it was clean thought it was fuses but it wasn't now the car won't stay on I tried charging the battery but no that wasn't the problem. I've looked at the head gasket n it's good my timing seems to be good as well I don't what could be wrong with it I've put in brand new starter to terminals , the oil is still good an everything but I go to turn on the car n all lights turn on but when I start it to give it gas it's like the gas pedal don't work it won't spit out gas .. then it turns off cuz no gas is being passed threw hopefully u could help me I'll really appreciate it. .
