What is your question?
I just replaced my front rotors and brake pads. There is grinding when I brake. Yet there is no wear on the pads and rotors. In a torrential downpour on the interstate, the grinding became insatiable with the car pulling to the right. After the rain ceased the grinding minimized and we made it home. My mechanic inspected the car, front rotors, and pads. There is no wear and no signs of grinding, etc. Can this be the sealed bearings? We are at a loss.
What makes this problem better or worse?
In the rain
How long has your 2008 Cadillac SRX had this problem?

I'd say check the backing plates but I'm going to assume your mechanic looked everything over. Without looking at the car it will be hard to guess at the cause. I suggest you get a second opinion. If it's a loud grinding there has to be a smoking gun. Use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
