Well I was low on oil. That's another things it's drinking oil like a camel. But it's not leaking. It's not necessarily a ticking but maybe like something caught in a fan. Like flapping back and forth. Someone said maybe clogged converter. Was told it's located right on the middle directly In front of dash. But it's recently lost power and stepping on the pedal to get up a hill is when the noise is made. Or high rate of speed to get on Interstate.
That could be the cause and drinking oil is not a good sign that may hint at other major engine problems like piston rings and alot of other costly repairs
And it's been running a little hot. Temp gauge shows half way and slightly over half. Smells hot though. I get constant people telling me that. But I have the oil Changed every 3,000. There's 120,000 on it. But no oil or engine light has ever come on.
No. No oil In coolant. Let me see what I can find out today. I've priced converters and they're outrageous. Supposedly I have one on this car. Hoping that's the case. But sounds like it'll be a pretty penny. I appreciate you taking time to help me out though. I value your opinions. Thank you

A clogged cat can cause over heating
If the oil is "disappearing", is it reappearing in the coolant? Sounds like you may have a head gasket issue.
Oh no
