My Acura EL 1.6 turned itself off. Why????

I was sitting in my car on friday waiting to start work. I had it running and all of a sudden the car turned itself off. No dash lights no power. I waiting about 10 mins before I tried to turn it back on out of fear. It did turn on and so far hasn't happened again, It was the first time it's ever happened. Just bought the car about 1/2 a year ago. Took it to a mechanic who said that the car lookes like it was in really good condition. I would be greatful for any help.
