The adhesive holding the glass convertible window gives out and the window delaminates from the outer convertible shell. I used 3M VHB 2-sided adhesive tape (the same type that is used to hold glass panels to the outside of skyscrapers) to hold the window back in. It worked great, but long term effectiveness is still unknown.

my back window, lose with my convertible Mustang how do I fix it

2000 Ford Mustang 100,860 mi,
Window is loose around the top edge just enough to allow water to come in when it rains. Have had top fixed once and it's loose again. Haven't had a chance to get it fixed again. Last fix cost $200.

2001 Ford Mustang 132,585 mi,
Total back window came loose and fell into backseat also back seatbelts will not retract.

Seal around rear window is failing.

1999 Ford Mustang 129,000 mi,

2000 Ford Mustang 1,900,000 mi,
My back window is not attached to the seam. The roof if fine

I don't drive the car much, only during April thru October. The car is covered in a premium cover for the winter months. At the beginning of November, before I covered the car for the winter, I noticed a smell in the car when I took it for one last ride. I checked the car and the back leather seat had water on it and the back floor was wet. The rear window shifted downward so I'm guessing some seal broke. Now it's almost spring and I want to take the car out so getting this fixed is a priority. Ford won't do it and will sent it out. Is this a do it yourself job?

back window on convertible was leaking. I hopefully sealed it with a silicone sealer and crossed my fingers.

Not fixed rear window falling out and leaking

I have a 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible and the back window has came completely out.

Rear Window seams have come unglued on one side of my 2007 Mustang Ford quotes $2600 for a new top and recommended I go to someone they outsource this kind of repair to for all of their Mustangs top issues. I cannot get in touch with this guy. Is there someone else in the surrounding areas of Walton/Gwinnett capable of doing this repair without it costing me the price of a used car? Help please! Mom on a budget!
