ignition switch is stuck in lock position and will not turn how do you check this problem and what are possible solutions

Is your steering wheel locked tightly? Sometimes a locked steering wheel needs to be moved off of its lock to turn the key. Your key may also be getting worn out...try wiggling the key in the lock..
