Just picked up an Isuzu rodeo LS. it shakes and stutters while idling.

What is your question?

Looking to fix a stuttering issue, while car is idling, and upon initial take off. Also I tend to hear a slight tap around transmission upon acceleration, just one tap when engaging. What could be the issue?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Fuel injector cleanse slightly helped with the shaking but didn't fix.

How long has your 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport had this problem?
