Hi, in hypothetical terms - I would find it very hard to believe that a fuel injector could fail causing the outcome you've described. The only possible correlation would be that fuel was dumping into a cylinder so rapidly that it caused the cylinder to lock up. This would be nearly impossible. So, I'll say - no.
