Is 200k miles a lot

Yes that is a lot of miles. I have a freind that has a car with the same motor and it currently has 240,000 miles. His car has the same motor, and trans from the factory. I have the same motor and I have 136,00 miles with same motor and trans from factory. Ask the seller if it has the original motor and trans. The person may have done a lot of highway driving for work purposes. Theres a lot that could go wrong with cars and theres no way to tell when anythings going to happen. I cant tell you to buy it or not but use your best judgment.

Yes especially for the year, my fiance currently has a 2005 grand prix gt with only 85-86,xxx miles on it and she's trying to sell it or trade it in and the value doesn't even break $8k and that surprised us considering the low miles and condition its in the only body flaw is the rear quarter panel by the gas lid is caved in from being backed in to but over all the cars condition rates at 9/10
