Leaking a lot of oil. Replaced upper intake gasket and pcv seal was found to be bad as well.
Car was leaking oil and coolant, the intake manifold, gaskets and pc valve were replaced...cost me $350.
I was losing antifreeze. Would fill overflow up then within one day the overflow would be empty. Shop reported losing antifreeze at manifold. Also replaced at the gaskets - Repair cost was right at $800 and solved my problem. Parts were $340 labor $470.
Same thing happened to me. The mechanic said something about it a while ago, but said it wasn't a big problem. More recently he said I needed to get it fixed. He replaced the gasket and now I am good to go. Cost me about $325 bucks.
Engine shut down and wouldn't start,antifreeze overflow emptied. Cylinders flooded with coolant. Do not try to start have car towed. Replaced plastic intake manifold (hole burned through) and gasket,oil and oil. filter. ,fuel filter, plugs. $800.
