If you have the 4.6 liter V8 there are 2 coil packs that control the 8 spark plugs. Each coil pack sits on the front end of the valve cover. The Engine Computer controls these coil packs, so there is no 'stand alone' Ignition Control Module. If you have misfire codes, start by replacing the plugs and wires, clear the codes and then recheck your system.
