I have replaced the brakes but the light is still on and the chime is still chimeing
What is your question?
I fixed this car about 8 months ago and I need to get the alarm to stop beeping before I go nuts. I replaced the brakes but the brake light is still on and the brake chime is still chimeing. How do you get it to stop?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1994 Buick Park Avenue. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Low fluid level in the master cylinder or a parking brake that is not releasing will cause the brake light to stay on and the chime to sound. If the fluid level is full and the park brake is working correctly then checking the fluid level switch and park brake release switch would be in order.

I have a Buick Rendevouz, the brake light and chime comes on after driving for a while, shut the car off and it clears. Start driving again and later it comes back on. Brake fluid level is good, parking brake is released, parking brake switch tested ok. While car running, removed wire from brake fluid level and jumped connection, brake alarm and chime as well as low fluid symbol comes on and goes away once wire jumper removed. Need a wiring schematic to see what else can cause this alarm to activate. When it activates the low level symbol does not appear as it did when I jumped the low level sensor connection. Does anyone know where to get a wiring schematic?
I removed the drivers door panel and disconnected the speaker. The chime is pulsed through the speaker.
