What is your question?
In a 2008 chevy Silverado, 5.3 liter. 200k miles. One of my lifters was stuck. I had my mechanic replace all lifters. Then the oil pressure started getting very low. I had the oil pump replaced. The oil pressure is still very low and the engine knocks. Wondering what the problem could be now?
What makes this problem better or worse?
consistant knocking and low oil pressure
How long has your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
few weeks

Hello, lifters and fuel pump replacement -- although maybe or maybe not necessary -- would not influence a "low oil pressure" reading. Have you actually measured oil pressure that the engine is developing with a physical mechanical gauge? I would do that first. If you have verified a low oil pressure situation, and the oil pump was replaced, you likely have some kind of debris in the engine oil passages that is preventing proper oil flow. Totally a guess though, and hands on testing is needed. If you have engine knocking, it is likely that engine repairs due to internal lack of proper lubrication may be required.
